File Extensions


Description

SciDex supports now a number common used formats for import and export data. SciDex can in a few seconds export your data from a database into HTML files, which are ready to present on your web server.

0SD Main database file created by SciDex
1SD až 9SD Index database files created by SciDex
ASD Data exchange file written in ANSI/ASCII and changeable by word processor. The format is defined by LCI Publisher.
BMP Windows Bitmap File
GIFnew GIF (Graphical Interchange Format), though not the most economical, is the most common graphics format found on the Internet.
HTMLnew Hypertext Mark-Up Language, common format for web pages
JPGnew JPEG/JFIF, a 24 bit graphic format.
MOL Structure exchange file written in ANSI/ASCII and changeable by word processor. The format is defined by MDL/Elsevier.
PNGnew Portable Network Graphics, is a new bitmap format whose creation was spurred by the unfortunate legal situation surrounding the GIF format.
RTF Rich Text Format. This file contains formatted text for the use in word processors.
SDF Data exchange file written in ASCIIZ and changeable by word processor. The format is defined by MDL/Elsevier.
SDG Data exchange file for tables and numerical graphics written in ASCII and changeable by word processor. The format is defined by LCI Publisher.
SKC Binary Structure file. The format is defined by MDL/Elsevier.
SXC Saved list of compounds. This file can be only opened, if the original database is opened before. The format is defined by LCI Publisher.
SXP Saved list of properties. This file can be only opened, if the original database is opened before. The format is defined by LCI Publisher.
SXR Save list of references. This file can be only opened, if the original database is opened before. The format is defined by LCI Publisher.
SX2 Saved list of compound pairs. This file can be only opened, if the original database is opened before. The format is defined by LCI Publisher.
WMF Windows graphic file. The format is defined by Microsoft.
XMLnew The Extensible Markup Language (XML) is the universal format for structured documents and data on the Web.
